WWE King of the Ring 2000 kings

Kurt Angle won the 2000 tournament to become the eighth WWE King of the Ring.

At the 2000 tournament, he defeated Chris Jericho, Crash, and Rikishi to capture the coveted crown.

Kurt’s year as King was perhaps the most successful in history. Just four months later, he captured the WWE Championship from The Rock at No Mercy 2000. He reigned for four months, before losing the title back to the People’s Champion at No Way Out 2001.
