  • Although he made it all the way to the finals of the 1995 King of the Ring tournament, Savio Vega wasn’t even originally scheduled to compete in the event. After broken ribs eliminated Razor Ramon from the tournament, a match was held on the premium live event to determine who would take Ramon’s place. Vega—who had made his WWE debut just one month earlier—topped Irwin R. Shyster (otherwise known as IRS) to earn the spot.
