Winning the King of the Ring tournament was perhaps the highlight of Owen Hart’s career. After winning the tourney, he re-christened himself the “King of Harts,” and would go on to win the World Tag Team Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and the European Championship before his tragic death in 1999.
