On the November 13 Raw, Rated-RKO (Edge and Randy Orton) defeated the legendary team of Ric Flair and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper to become World Tag Team Champions.

Edge took out Piper early in the match with a con-chair-to, leaving Flair to face Rated-RKO by himself. Despite Flair’s valiant effort, he was no match for the two young, hungry superstars; in the end, Edge nailed “Nature Boy” with a spear to get the winning pinfall and claim tag team gold.

With the win, Edge became an 11-time World Tag Team Champion (along with one reign as WWE Tag Team Champion) while Orton became a tag team champion for the first time.
