Randy Orton won a battle royal on Raw to earn a shot at Chris Benoit’s World Heavyweight Championship. Orton said it was his destiny to become World Heavyweight Champion, and he proved that to be true as he defeated Benoit with his deadly RKO. What’s even more impressive is that the Evolution superstar won the match all on his own, as no other members from the faction came down to help him. But when he tried to celebrate the next night on Raw, Triple H and the rest of Evolution turned on the new champion, leaving him a bloody mess in the middle of the ring. Triple H felt that the belt belonged to him and Orton had no right taking it.
