R-Truth defended the United States Championship in his hometown against John Morrison, Zack Ryder, and former United States Champion The Miz.

After John Morrison incapacitated R-Truth with Starship Pain, the opportunistic Miz pulled Morrison away to cover R-Truth himself for the winning pinfall, claiming the United States Championship for the second time.
