Bad News Barrett captured his fifth Intercontinental Championship in a best-of-three falls match against Dolph Ziggler on January 15. Barrett surrendered the title in July 2014, but recaptured the title he never lost by dropping Ziggler with a devastating bull hammer in the third fall.
