Since losing the Intercontinental Championship to Test, Edge had won the Unites States Championship. This Intercontinental Championship re-match became a unification match with the winner getting both titles. Test managed to hit his pumphandle slam, but Edge kicked out and came back with his spear. After a nice roll up, Edge walked out of Survivor Series as both the U.S. and Intercontinental Champion.
