After numerous attempts to regain the ECW World Championship, Lashley was finally able to overcome the odds to defeat Mr. McMahon in a street fight at One Night Stand to recapture the title.

Lashley was stripped of the title by Jonathan Coachman when he was drafted from ECW to Raw on the June 11 Raw.
