Jamie Noble challenged The Hurricane for the Cruiserweight Championship at King of the Ring. The two had a very physical battle that featured some stellar mat wrestling as opposed to the typical high-flying action of most cruiserweight matches. In the end, Noble was able to utilize a low blow and hit a powerbomb for the win and his first Cruiserweight Championship.
