Jacy Jayne stuns Stephanie Vaquer to win the NXT Women's Title
Ethan Page def. Ricky Saints to win the NXT North American Championship
Ethan Page shocked Ricky Saints to win the NXT North American Championship.
The two Superstars couldn’t wait to get their hands on one another as they brawled during the championship introductions, and a later melee on the outside forced NXT General Manager Ava to come to ringside to implore the official to make sure there is a clear winner.
Page used a steel chair to crush the throat of the champion, but he found it difficult to put Saints away despite the clear breathing issues.
Saints fired back in a huge way, but Page once again targeted the throat, this time with the ropes, and hit a Twisted Grin to become the new champion.
Mike Santana def. Tavion Heights
TNA wrestler Mike Santana came to NXT and proved a point as he defeated Tavion Heights in singles action.
The incredibly athletic Heights proved to be a difficult matchup for The Standard of NXT as he used his arsenal of suplexes to wrench the lower back of his opponent.
However, the toughness of the Bronx born Santana shined through as he delivered skin-ripping chops that brought the NXT Universe to its feet.
With Heights dazed from a Superkick, Santana Spun The Block and pinned Santana and showed a moment of respect with his NXT opponent.
Santana appeared again later in the night to challenge Trick Williams to a TNA World Title Match
Jaida Parker def. Tatum Paxley
Jaida Parker added insult to injury when she crushed Tatum Paxley’s mind and spirit.
Paxley used her unusual offense to confuse Parker, but Ms. Parker countered by destroying Paxley’s dolls of her old friends, allowing her to hit a Hipnotic to score the win.
After the win, Thea Hail hit the ring and chased Parker away.
Jasper Troy def. Dante Chen
LFG Season One winner Jasper Troy followed up his history making win with a dominant win over Dante Chen.
Chen gave it a good fight, but a Black Hole Slam gave Troy the win.
After the match, NXT Champion Oba Femi confronted Troy after last week’s sneak attack and told him to mind his business.
Rey Fenix and AAA’s Laredo Kid are in NXT to compete with Ethan Page
Jacy Jayne def. NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer to win the NXT Women’s Championship
Jayne set the tone early by mauling Vaquer before the bell even rang, and the chaos continued when Dalys and Chik Tormenta came to ringside, only for Lola Vice to fend them off.
Vaquer had Jayne in position for an SVB but Fallon Henley jumped to the apron, only for La Primera to smash Vaquer into her, leading to an argument that saw Jayne and Henley shove Jazmyn Nyx.
The chaos found its way back into the ring and Henley put her issues aside to hit a 619-like maneuver on the champion, allowing Jayne to hit her rolling forearm to capture the title.
