WWE Backlash history

Since 1999, Backlash has been WWE’s post-WrestleMania Premium Live Event party. In its amazing history, Backlash has given birth to such memorable moments as:

• In 1999, Mankind and Big Show had a bitter battle in a boiler room, and The Rock and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin met head-to-head in a classic.
• In 2000, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin was in The Rock’s corner as The People’s Champion upended Triple H for the WWE Championship.
• In 2001, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Triple H took the WWE World Tag Team Championship from Undertaker and Kane; plus Shane McMahon delivered the damndest elbowdrop in WWE history.
